Me: Wah. Sesshoumaru's costume is too complex and hard and wah!
San: Why are you drawing him... not naked?

If only.

FINAL UPDATE: Well. Finally finished. I've been a HUGE slacker but whatever. HotM is now around 120k hits on FF.net, but it's the thought that counts, right? RIGHT?? Anyway. This is a scene from the end of chapter 30, which I'm working on right now. There's still stuff I hate about it (everything) but you get the general idea. ^^;

So! Thanks to everyone who has helped make Tales from the House of the Moon ( [link] [link] ) such a huge success! I  you all! ^_________^

Aw I'm sorry its been a rough week. :petting:

I think that picture is coming along quite fabulously. I am especially fond of Kagome's expression and Sess's armor. And I like the colors you have. As for a background..hm...I don't know. I usually just throw in a background of random leaves and shrubbery when all else fails.

Your coloring turned out beautiful. I feel your pain; I get too interested in drawing people and often will neglect doing the backgrounds. Sheesh, if only they were more interesting then it wouldn't be a problem. ;)
I'm very impressed by your kiriban and your writing. You save me from thumping my head gaainst the wall when the bookstores have nothing new to peak my interest.

This picture is coming along great. I feel your pain with backgrounds. They bore me tremendously and I never sketch them in. Luckily, I have Photoshop CS with all those cool brushes and so I can usually emulate something of a background. They have a "grass" brush for cheesakes.
But anyway, I love the soft colors. And everything looks very clean. I LOVE the way you did his armor.
The only criticism I have is that his foot seems small... or off in a way. But everything else looks proportioned.
Good work!

Thank you!

Insanity, Sesshoumaru decided, just wasn't for him. He wasn't even certain that he had been doing it right, anyway.

Aw, thanks! But not really that good of an artist; I subscribe to the "InfiniteMonkeys" school of art, which states that if I make and erase enough marks on a paper enough times, I'll eventually end up with something good enough to color.

This is why my tablet is so good to me; after the five millionth erasing paper tends to get holes. *hugs tablet*

Random leaves and shrubbery, you say? Sounds good, sounds good...

Yeah, backgrounds don't have pretty hair... or... you know... other pretty things. They can BE pretty, but I like focusing on characters, so my backgrounds lack finesse. Wah.

And aw, thanks! I try.

Yeah, I think I'll fiddle with that after everything else is finished (god I love Photoshop), since it looks a little off to me too, though I can't put my finger on it.

But oo! Brushes! I think I actually have a PS program with landscape brushes!
